Every car has parts that wear out with usage. An automotive tune-up is done to your car to replace and maintain parts that wear out.

All cars need regular tune-ups about every 30,000 miles or 48,000 kilometers.

There are many variations on what should be done at a tune-up, but these services generally include the following:

  • air filter replacement
  • fuel filter replacement
  • new spark plugs and wires
  • distributor cap inspection and replacement, if necessary
  • rotor inspection and replacement
  • valve adjustment
  • throttle plate cleaned
  • fluid check
  • clutch adjustment
  • battery inspection
  • PCV valve replacement
