Mike is a certified automotive technician. He graduated and completed the automotive training program at BCIT in 2001. Mike has always been interested in vehicles and continues to educate himself to stay current with today’s technology. Mike uses his knowledge of vehicles and understanding of finances to give you the most cost-effective means of keeping you safe and your vehicle running at a reasonable price.

Marty grew up in Timmins Ontario where his father owned a local automotive shop and at 13 years old he would spend his summers working there. His passion for the automotive industry led him to BCIT where he graduated in 2007 as an Automotive Service Technician.

Hobbies: Marty is an outdoorsy kind of guy. He spends his weekends in the mountains downhill mountain biking, camping, and his winters on the mountain skiing.

Christian Bateman

Moved to Pemberton: 2020 from South Africa
Started at Silvhorn: Fall of 2020

Christian began his automotive career 8+ years ago in South Africa after he earned his Automotive Technician Certificate. However, he’s been taking apart and putting back together electronics since he was a kid. Christian’s enthusiasm for electrical work and wiring paired with his bilingualism gives him a leg-up when it comes to repairing European cars.

Hobbies: Christian enjoys motocross, spending time outdoors with his family, and watching other people repair electronic problems on cars.

 

Nathan Fowler

Nathan Fowler - Pemberton Mechanic TechnicianGrew up in Pemberton
Started at Silvhorn in October 2020

Silvhorn’s newest apprentice mechanic, Nathan, grew up in the Pemberton Valley. Recently switching his trade from sheet metal, Nathan is Christian’s right-hand man in the shop and a tire-changing expert.

Hobbies: Nathan enjoys spending time on his dirt bike, tinkering on old autos at home, and relaxing at the lake.
